Planning Board Approves Meeting House Road Lot Line Fix
Chatham Planning Board approved a lot line correction for 82 Meeting House Road.
Planning Board · Meeting of October 19, 2026
Chatham Planning Board approved a lot line correction for 82 Meeting House Road. The board voted 4-0 at a special October 19 meeting to endorse an Approval Not Required plan moving an interior lot line so it no longer runs through an existing building on the industrial-zoned property, owned by Scuda LLC. Attorney Bill Litchfield, representing owner Rob Stello, said the fix makes the building and both resulting parcels conforming under industrial-zone setback and frontage rules.
Member Warren Chane asked how the building was ever permitted to straddle a lot line; Litchfield said the structure predated the original division plan and the prior owner "anticipated tearing the building down," which never happened. Vice Chair Charleen Greenhalgh presided in the absence of Chair Art Spruch and Clerk Frank Sherer.
