Chatham Senior Food Program Delivered Over 1,300 Bags in 2020
CHATHAM — April 1, 2021 — Chatham's Council on Aging distributed 1,363 bags of food to 32 households in 2020 through its Healthy Meals in Motion partnership with the Family Pantry of Cape Cod. The mobile pantry program, which launched in 2016, delivers groceries once a month to enrolled seniors who select items from a Family Pantry shopping list; volunteers then shop, pack, and separate perishables from non-perishables before each delivery. The March 17 delivery was the program's most recent. No council meeting was held; the source material is a public-information video segment with no named officials, no deliberations, and no votes recorded.
