Chatham Council on Aging Urgently Recruiting Part-Time Bus Drivers
CHATHAM — October 13, 2021 — Chatham Council on Aging is recruiting intermittent bus drivers to meet urgent transportation demand. Director Mandy Speakman announced the openings in a recorded public-service message, noting that no commercial driver's license is required and that shifts run between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, capped at 19 hours per week. The positions carry intermittent employee status and no benefits. Drivers would provide door-to-door service for medical appointments, adult day programming, and shopping trips for older adults and caregivers. Speakman directed applicants to the town's website for a full job description and application materials.
